    About the role:
    Partners with stakeholders and leads team efforts to build and maintain backend services and solutions to support user-facing products, downstream services, or infrastructure tools and platforms used across Uber

    About the team:


    Uber Connect and Direct are fast growing products in the C2C (Consumer to Consumer) and B2C (Business to Consumer) spaces respectively.

    This role will initially help with the development of the Uber Direct product which is our business level offering. We allow merchants to create deliveries by either using our Dashboard product or directly integrating with our public api. This lets a merchant add delivery services to their existing website or app.


    Minimum qualifications:
    PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field

    OR

    3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience,


    WHICH INCLUDES
    2-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:

    Programming language (e.
    G.

    C, C++, Java, Python, or Go)Note the 2-years total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these).

    The years of specialized experience are not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated.
