The Tax Assistant at BW Energy (BWE) in Brazil is responsible for the following tasks:Assisting in calculating direct ("IRPJ and "CSLL) and indirect taxes and preparing tax returnsCalculating the withholdings taxes due over the supplier invoicesKeeping the Clearance Certificate (Municipal, State, Federal) up to dateManaging the Digital Certificates for the companies and AdministratorValidating tax obligations and reconciling tax informationCollaborating with Accounting and Finance Team to ensure accurate tax calculations and returnsAssisting in preparing tax requirements and documentation for tax incentivesAssisting in liaising with Tax Authorities and government agencies regarding tax assessments, audits, and related issuesRequirementsCurrently enrolled or a graduate in accounting or lawTax experience in an accounting/law firm and/or industry, preferably in an E& P corporationUnderstanding of tax obligationsProficiency in working with ERP systemsProficiency in English is advantageous
