    Position Overview:

    This Financial Analyst IV position will be responsible for performing complexfinancial analyses on forecasts, budgets, cash flows, operating results, andbusiness plans with minimal supervision to enable accurate information formanagement to make business decisions. Provides financial support and businesspartnering to key stakeholders in the business to ensure timely access tofinancial data and adherence to business processes.

    Essential Functions:

  • Forecasting and reporting are monthly processes, while budgeting is anannual process.
  • Performs key role in financial analysisregarding trends, financial structure, assets, etc.
  • Monitors key performance indicators and businessperformance, performing key role in creating regular reports to management.
  • Partners with managers in the group you aresupporting in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.
  • Prepares journal entries and supports month-endcost monitoring and close process.
  • Identifies opportunities for cost reductions andefficiencies.
  • Identifies opportunities for processimprovements and/or automation.
  • Builds strong relationships within finance andother corporate functions.
  • Carries out a range of operational tasks andproject work in the area of expertise as assigned by superior.

    • Required Skills &Abilities:

  • Familiar with financial controlling concepts,terminology, systems, procedures, tools and practices. Ensures timely andproper execution of processes within given principles and finds ways to makethings more efficient.
  • Intermediate understanding of forecasting andbudgeting processes.
  • Has worked with financial modeling. Knowsbusiness models and underlying value drivers in one's own area ofresponsibility. Can identify and gather information necessary to run afinancial model.
  • Contributes to team achievements by taking responsibility for ownefforts and seeking input/guidance when needed.
  • Adapts one's own behavior to the tasks and individuals involved.
  • Demonstrates respect, inclusion andcollaboration of different thinking, backgrounds, experience, expertise andindividual qualities across all organizational levels and dimensions.Demonstrates a willingness to examine own biases, assumptions and attitudes.
  • Understands basic concepts behind a disciplinedapproach to problem solving. Looks for data that help to identify anddifferentiate the symptoms and root causes of defined problems.
  • Responds to shifting priorities whilemaintaining progress of regularly scheduled work. Can identify conflicts orpotential slippage and seek assistance on prioritizing aspects of workload.
  • Tolerates risk or uncertainty. Can cope withchange and shift gears when needed. Handles challenges in one's own area ofresponsibility, critically self-reflects performance and self-control and workson it.
  • Able to lead and/or drive change withinimmediate work group.
  • Collects and integrates necessary data frommultiple databases and sources; applies data quality checks.
  • Caneffectively communicate within and outside of work group.

    • Education and ExperienceRequirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business required.
  • 6+ years relevant work experience required.
  • Hyperion, Essbase/Smartview, SAP and Business Objects experience a plus

    • Working Conditions/PhysicalRequirements:

  • Siemens hybrid working environment with mix ofnormal office environment and working from home or fully remote working fromhome.
  • Minimal travel possible.
