    Job Purpose

    The Learning & Development (L&D) Intern will be responsible for assisting the L&D team by carrying out the below responsibilities and contributing to special projects as assigned. The role will provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in learning and development, whilst being supported by a team.

    Job Description

  • Work with the business on specific development-related projects & initiatives.
  • Support the Learning & Development team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of learning & development administration support provided to the business.
  • Liaise with employees and managers to confirm learning requests and course arrangements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to agree content, dates, T&Cs and bookings.
  • Assist with marketing and promotion of learning events.
  • Assist in other general learning and development activities/events as required.
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • Working towards an HR-related or business degree or qualification
  • A genuine interest in Learning and/or wider Human Resources Management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confidence & ability to work with people (and build strong relationships) at all levels within the company and with external contacts
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be responsible for own time management
  • A customer-focused approach
  • Takes initiative and has good problem-solving skills
