- Provide 3rd and 4th level cloud database support for complex issues (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Participate in and manage database related projects, database security patching audits, and compliance reviews and testing.
- Develop new and update existing database technology related documentation as needed.
- Provide technical leadership for all aspects of database management such as database lifecycle management, monitoring, support, disaster recovery, compliance, and standards.
- Research, benchmark, and suggest improvements to database support processes, customer experience (CX) improvements, and compliance requirements.
- Coach and communicate information to Caterpillar's application support teams and peers across the enterprise on cloud technology changes, new features, key projects, and customer experience improvements.
- Participate in customer driven and Division/department projects providing Database Management consultancy services.
