    to drive the full-scale development of our business in the region from zero to one and beyond.

    Position Summary:


    As the General Manager for the South America Region, you will be fully responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for Star Charge in South America, achieving rapid growth in market share, revenue, and profitability.

    You will be the business founder and core leader, establishing local operations, managing government relations, strategic partnerships, market expansion, sales delivery, and service operations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy & Planning:
    Develop long-term market development strategy, annual business plans, and financial budgets for the South America region.
    Conduct in-depth analysis of policy environments, competitive landscapes, customer needs, and industry trends in key South American
    countries (e.
    G., Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina).
    Identify market opportunities and potential risks, formulating corresponding market entry and competitive strategies.

    Business Development & Sales:
    Lead and personally engage in acquiring, negotiating with, and maintaining relationships with key clients (e.
    G., OEMs, energy companies, large commercial real estate, retail chains, government projects).
    Establish and manage a diversified sales channel network, including direct sales, distributors, and strategic partners.
    Lead major project bidding to ensure regional sales and market share targets are achieved.

    Operations & Localization Management:
    Oversee the daily operations of the South American subsidiary.
    Establish and optimize the local team structure, business processes, financial and compliance systems.
    Supervise the construction, operation, and maintenance quality of the charging network, ensuring excellent user experience and service reliability.

    Government Relations & Public Affairs:


    Represent the company to build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and media across South American countries.

    Closely monitor and proactively influence policies and standards related to EVs and charging infrastructure.

    Team Building & Leadership:
    Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing local team, fostering a positive and efficient organizational culture.
    Act as the bridge between the regional team and global headquarters, ensuring strategic alignment and resource synergy.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Education & Experience:
    Bachelor's degree or above;
    MBA, Engineering, Economics, or related field preferred.

    Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a general management or senior business development role in South America.

    Experience in new energy, automotive, energy infrastructure, industrial products, or technology sectors is highly preferred.
    Proven track record of successfully building a new market or business line from scratch.

    Language Requirements:
    Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

    Willingness to be based in South America long-term and travel
    extensively.
