Besides that, the team provides guidance to other teams regarding branching, release organization and deployment matters, while supporting the engineering department in operational matters such as merging, building, processes, branching and deployment.

What you'll do:

Align delivery priorities across 6 different environments and among 8 different squads.

Coordinate operational projects.

Ensure version control and governance of applied changes.

Align with the QA team on requirements for release go/no-go decisions.

Ensure that defined processes are adhered to and communicated to the engineering team.

Ensure the integrity of main branches and deployment builds.

Coordinate deployments in production environments.

Collaborate with the GRC team on change controls and required audit process evidence.

Guide development and QA teams on release best practices.

Identify current applicable improvements and automation.

Manage the release management team in terms of people management (1:1s, feedback, performance).

Who you are:

Degree in Computer Science or related technical field;

Solid experience with release management and/or deployment

Knowledge of Git (Workflow and Managing Branches) and/or Github.

Adept at Agile development process (daily stand-ups, test-driven development, etc).

Strong ownership and Commitment skills

Aims to solve problems and it's committed to finding solutions

Knows how to deal with critical demands in a high-pressure environment

Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools

Be organized and proactive

Be detail-oriented and a good team player
