Job Profile:

The Support / Assistant Operator role is a supportive position within an operational environment, focusing on manual tasks or assisting other roles to facilitate the production process and enable more senior roles to be more productive.

This role supports the production process by performing relatively simple tasks associated with high-volume work streams. The required knowledge can be acquired through brief explanations or instructions.

If specific tasks are assigned, detailed instructions govern the activities, with assistance readily available. Tasks are typically performed at routine levels.

When working closely with senior colleagues, supporting them in their work, the Support / Assistant Operator focuses on simple, supportive activities under close supervision.

• Perform various manual operational activities and/or operate basic machinery/tools

• Communicate with colleagues and supervisors, providing information when asked and following up on instructions and guidance
• Work in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures, as well as technical standards
• Signal potential hazardous or unsafe situations and take appropriate action in case of imminent unsafe situations
