    The Procurement Excellence team is responsible for:

  • Establish and develop a cost efficient, agile, and high quality supplier base in the region.
  • Strategize the right level of local content, considering regulatory needs, FX exposure, risk management, time-to-market dynamics, and taxes and responsibilities.
  • Engage effectively on providing accurate Forward Costs and Contracts status.
  • Seek for high quality competitive advantages.
  • Promote sustainable cost out by partnering with internal stakeholders and with suppliers.
  • Establish capacity and risk management practices and controls
  • Responsibilities:

  • As Procurement Excellence Analyst for Vestas, you will be responsible for risk management analysis according to our cost tracker, BNDES documentation control and analysis, material group cost analysis support.
  • Focal point for cost tracker and group cost analysis and report, working closely with purchasers to have the big picture of costs (material, services, TCI, taxes) in order to help the company be more competitive (market strategy)
  • Risk Management responsibility for procurement aiming wing to wing chain (considering Cost Tracker file and impacts for final customer) to take proper actions when needed, alternative plans, root cause analysis, etc.
  • Work closely with supply chain team in order to consider LATAM suppliers (value chain) to other regions, drawback analysis for exportation.
  • BNDES responsibility: responsible for BNDES accreditation phase (make sure all documents are submitted respecting the strategy of Vestas for obtaining CFI code). On daily basis responsible for all documentation submission to BNDES for current projects: coordinate the gathering of necessary documents from the site, factory and suppliers in compliance with BNDES rules and normative. Work closely with project (site admin) team and plant team to make sure component invoices are being loaded in system, analyze all invoices and standard forms to make sure they are matching WTGs being commissioned, fill BNDES form, upload all documentation requested.

  • Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years of career experience in a similar position
  • In-depth understanding and experience working at Procurement, Finance or Projects
  • Fluent in English; Spanish will be a plus
