Airswift is seeking a Contract Specialist to work on a permanent contract with a major Oil & Gas Company in Rio de Janeiro.
This professional is responsible for supervising the assistant or analyst in all contractual aspects of the project and in managing changes and claims, maintaining excellent relations with the client and partners.
He/she will provide support to the Supply Chain team in the flowdown of suppliers' contractual obligations, as well as in contractual amendments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing support in the review and approval of contract terms and conditions, from kick-off to the closing of all commercial discussions;
Formulating and qualifying the contractual provisions, obtaining the applicable internal approvals;
Ensuring that contractual provisions are complied with;
Managing and compiling evidence to substantiate and prove contractual rights;
Maintain constant interface with Package Managers in order to capture changes to the contractual scope that should be the subject of a contract change (Variation Orders);
Monitor all stages of contract management, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements;
Supporting the calculation of estimates, producing resource plans, supporting and analyzing the evolution and fulfillment of contracts;
Developing change plans;
Ensuring compliance with the main requirements of the project contract;
Feeding and maintaining the project's lessons learned database;
Tracking, understanding and managing any variations in the contract, in terms of scope, risk, schedule, specifications, etc;
Ensuring that the invoicing process is adhered to, including monitoring the project's physical progress, so that the project's cash flow occurs as planned;
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Good knowledge of the Office Package;
Fluent English;
Notions of project and/or contract management;
Basic knowledge of applicable legislation in Brazil;
Negotiation skills;
Completed university degree in areas related to Exact Sciences or Law;
