    The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is seeking Customer Practice Managers (CPMs) to lead and/or support significant customer programs during the solution and pursuit stages, create a long-term Professional Services strategy, and implement that strategy with those customers.

    The CPM acts as a trusted advisor for our customers and is responsible for all aspects of business development, deal structuring, deal support, and closure in those accounts.

    AWS Professional Services is involved in a wide range of projects with customers and partners, leveraging collective experience from across the AWS customer base. We are dedicated to achieving successful outcomes for the Customer.

    Our team collaborates extensively across the entire AWS organization to provide access to product and service teams, ensuring the right solution is delivered at the right time, and driving feature innovation based on customer needs.

    • Engage customers - collaborate with AWS sales and partner teams to cultivate strong customer and partner relationships, grow business, and boost AWS adoption in a specific geographic area and/or for a named customer set.
    • Think big - assess customer marketplace circumstances, organizational readiness, and executive sponsor willingness to foster discussions leading to broader strategic transformation programs.
    • Envision and inspire customers.
    • Identify and develop specific opportunities and associated business cases.
    • Deal shaping, including estimations and pricing.
    • Contract negotiations and closure.
    • Drive cloud transformation by devising long-term Cloud Strategies, identifying opportunities, managing issues and risks.
    • Support the commercial relationship by planning and executing a project portfolio, overseeing budgets and deliverables.
    • Act as the single point of contact for Customer executives, fostering deep and trustful relationships.
    • Educate customers on AWS services and articulate their business value.
    • Advocate for customers by liaising with AWS engineering teams to provide partner and enterprise customer feedback for AWS technology roadmaps.
    • Supervise project delivery in the account, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop customer strategy within the Professional Services organization's framework.
    • Establish strategic alignment with all teams engaging with the customer.
    • Generate and manage pipelines of opportunities.
    • Manage opportunities effectively.
    • Coordinate internal resources from ProServe to align with the overarching strategy.
    • Create compelling business cases and closing plans.
    • Cultivate rapport and build trust with customers.

    We are considering candidates for roles based in Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
    • 5+ years of database (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience.
    • 7+ years of consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
    • 5+ years of software development using object-oriented languages.
    • 3+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems.
    • 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex, large-scale project management experience.
    • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
