    MAIN PURPOSE

    Marketing Manager will play a key role, developing brand awareness and securing national press and clients both B2C & B2B. Organize & manage integrated content implementation for all relevant communications channels (e.g. print, digital, social, publications & CRM). Deployment & management of global advertising campaigns across all channels, project management and coordination of Media agency & external partners. Rollout of global campaigns & brand-led initiatives in the market. Analysis and optimization of global content development & production process. Cross-functional alignment with internal interfaces such as eCom, Media, CRM, VM and product categories. Alignment on local requests & the proper implementation of the marketing strategy of the company in the region of its operation, ensuring an effectiveness of the results of the sales channel.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Marketing-strategy

    o Developing a concept for the national marketing strategy

    o Executing the national marketing plan with special focus on product launch / support plans

    o Planning and executing national events (launch-events; arts and culture)

    o Focus on Retail-Business, w/o neglecting Wholesale and Corporate Gift

    o Permanently monitoring sales performance in RT, WHS and CG and deriving corrective actions if need be (specifically when significant deviations between budget and actual should occur)

    o Managing special contribution projects: Defining extra marketing activities financially supported by HQ


    • Media


    o Defining media-targets and deriving the media briefing

    o Identifying and selecting appropriate media in collaboration with Agency (both "classical" and "social" media) to achieve maximum results within the given budget frame


    PR-activities

    o Conducting PR-activities that fit the overall strategy of Montblanc

    o Permanently (positively) influencing journalists and other opinion-leaders (contacting and visiting editorial staff, organising press conferences, doing factory tours with journalists and very important customers like the "Royals")

    o Managing the PR agency: Briefing, permanently controlling costs and foremost results (main KPI: media value achieved)


    Visual Merchandising, Visibility

    o Implementing all national visual merchandising activities in collaboration with internal and external staff

    o Planning and ordering of POS material to safeguard best possible equipment of all POS and at the same time minimal stock level


    Retail Marketing

    o Closely collaborating with Retail Management - specifically in defining the marketing plans for single boutiques

    o Implementing of Retail-Marketing activities together with Retail-Management and corresponding teams

    o Responsible for permanent improvement of the data quality in the Customer Data Base

    o Executing of central and local CRM-activities (mailings, events, rule-based communication etc.) in close consultation with HQ marketing


    • Wholesale Marketing


    o Defining and executing the Wholesale-Marketing-plan

    o Permanently in touch with trade partners (jewellers, traditional trade)

    o Maintaining customer fact sheets in the system (SAP-BW)


    Budget Control

    o Planning and permanently controlling the overall ASP budget (mandatory: usage of commitment controlling tool in SAP)

    o Ensuring maximum efficiency: Making best possible use of available A&P funds

    o Providing statistics about A&P and its split (into disciplines like media, PR. POS etc. and into distribution-channels)


    General Management tasks

    o Managing all external suppliers to the Marketing Departent (agencies, printers, letter-shops and alike)

    o Communicating to Marketing Director Western Hemisphere in Hamburg HQ: Permanent exchange of informations, getting necessary approvals in time

    o Checking/fixing marketing-relevant legal issues in collaboration with legal department of Richemont

    o Managing the Marketing-Inventory (e.g, product samples)

    o Preparing the Marketing-Part of regular EXCO presentations

    Education:

     MBA – Master (desirable)

     Graduation Degree in Marketing

    Required experience:

     5 years of experience in Managing Positions

     10 years of experience in Marketing

    Technical skills / abilities:

     Advanced Computer Skills (office)

     Fluent Portuguese & English (mandatory)
