- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
- Conduct tests and validations to ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Resolve issues related to fielded hardware and software and offer support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Research and interpret engineering data to develop system requirements, including drawing specs, CATIA/CAD models, installation plans, and maintenance procedures.

- Must hold a degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA).
- Experience working in a professional setting.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- Relevant experience in Electrical Systems hardware and software design.
- Experience in system design and integration during aircraft development programs.
- Experience in equipment design, specification, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., RTCA DO-160).
- Expertise in Electrical design, encompassing Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation, and Wire Installation Design.
- Project management skills in a fast-paced, integrated environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in requirement verification and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., V-model application on ARP).
- Experience in equipment and systems certification under regulatory authorities (e.g., FAA, EASA).

Qualifications:
Boeing Brazil is looking for a Senior Cabin Electronic System Engineer under the supervision of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Manager at the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.
The successful Senior Cabin Electronic System Engineer will contribute to the team in defining and integrating aircraft electrical systems throughout our commercial fleet.
This role involves collaboration with the Cabin Systems Team, covering In-Flight Entertainment, Cabin Services System, Cameras and Sensors, interior lighting, passenger address systems, seat back video, and more.
All projects revolve around translating concepts and high-level requirements into specific architectures and operational specifications, including the physical integration of electrical systems and components into our intricate airplanes. Collaboration with a global supplier base for system hardware and software implementation. Validation of designs through both lab and aircraft testing. Involvement with aircraft systems from initial concept to certification, delivery, and throughout their production life. Continuously pushing the boundaries in commercial air transport technology.
Position Responsibilities:
This position offers hybrid/telecommuting options. The selected candidate will be expected to work onsite at specified locations. The flexibility is subject to the hiring team's decision and may change in the future.
