    This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes

    How you will contribute

    You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

    What you need to know about this position:

    ·Provide regional market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities.

    ·Actively engage in local key initiatives (aggregate demand, construct bid packages, and support sourcing through suppliers around the region) especially negotiations to ensure value levers are effectively played.

    ·Work in close collaboration with regional and local Procurement operations in order to ensure local acceptance of new contracts, and extended value generation to increase customer satisfaction.

    ·Coordinate contract implementation tasks with regional and local Procurement operations and users.

    ·Proactively identify supply continuity risks and develop mitigation plans.

    ·Ensuring full compliance to Procurement procedures.

    ·Ensure streamlined and timely process to execution in systems.

    · Strategy Execution & Supplier Relationship Management: Support global strategy development and execution for regional and local Spend Areas
    • Analyze spend data and understand the business needs.
    • Provide local market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities.
    • Develop sourcing strategy with implications on the BU (e.g. productivity, cash, revenue).
    • Support the supplier negotiation strategy at BU level according to global strategies.

    · Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure contract implementation and drive contract compliance as per globally agreed Procurement policies for regional Spend Areas
    • Work in close collaboration with local Procurement operations to ensure local acceptance of new contracts, and extended value generation to increase customer satisfaction. Support regional supplier relationship and risk management
    • In line with defined Procurement strategy, support classification and categorization of suppliers, including definition of supplier evaluation and audit policies.
    • Continuously track supplier performance according to globally defined framework.
    • Lead supplier development activities, set-up cross functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and drive an increase in ROI.
    • Initiate and conduct supplier audits according to globally defined framework.
    • Proactively identify supply continuity risks and develop mitigation plans.

    Stakeholder Management: Support management of internal customer relationships related to defined Spend Area portfolio
    • Within the framework of the cross functional sourcing and supplier development teams, closely develop and manage the relationship with internal customers.
