    Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Avionics Integration Engineer, reporting to the Avionics Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.

    The Mid-Career Avionics Integration Engineer will join Boeing Commercial Aviation engineering group being member of the Avionics team. On this role you will be responsible for the successful integration of avionics systems, verification and validation of requirements, and ensuring strong certification skills are applied to our 777-8F/777-9 programs. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Position Responsibilities:
    • Works with the avionics system integration efforts for 777-8F/777-9, ensuring seamless integration of avionics systems into the aircraft architecture.
    • Verify and validate requirements, ensuring they are met throughout the development and testing phases, and drive the necessary actions for any deviations or non-compliance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and supply chain, to drive task completion and ensure alignment with multiple priorities.
    • Leverage your experience in new airplane development to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge avionics systems.
    • Apply your expertise in development assurance to ensure the integrity, reliability, and safety of avionics systems throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Conduct lab testing and integration activities, validating the performance and functionality of avionics systems.
    • Utilize your exceptional people skills to bring teams together, foster collaboration, and solve complex issues that may arise during avionics system development.
    • Clearly communicate the status of avionics system development in various venues, including technical review boards and to airplane program leadership.
    • Serve as the link between airplane programs and our design center, ensuring effective coordination and alignment between the two entities.
    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
    • Must have a degree in Engineering
    • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
    • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
    • Experience with electronic systems
    Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
    • Experience with Development Assurance
    • Experience with avionics system integration, with a strong understanding of aircraft architectures and system interfaces
    • Experience in requirement verification and validation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., V-model application on ARP-4754)
    • Experience in new airplane development, including working with complex systems and managing design challenges
    • Experience with product certification process

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
