    ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly motivated International Payroll Specialist for the European region to join our team.

    As an International Payroll Specialist, you will have the autonomy to manage end-to-end payroll processes for 6 countries (Portugal, Spain, Romania, UK, Italy, and France).

    You will also ensure compliance with local labor legislation and provide guidance to stakeholders on HR policies and best practices.

    ABOUT THE TEAMAs a member of the team, you will have the autonomy to:

    Learn and acquire experience in terms of local payroll legislation from the European countries where VTEX runs its operation (UK, Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, and Romania).Manage the end-to-end process of Payroll control in European countries.

    Organize, collect, and process data input to the financial department via spreadsheets.
    Monthly run the payroll and ensure all payroll changes have been entered. Set up new employee information (tax information, direct deposit, home dept). Review payroll and send it to Divisions for approval.
    Generate monthly reports needed for the preparation of financial and controllership, indicators, and executive reports.
    Set up basic HR processes based on local requirements and customs.
    Resolve any employee payroll and HR issues.

    Perform duties that need online research and contact with foreign advisors to provide quality information to our Country Heads and employees.

    Help in the building and structuring of the Global Payroll & HR Area in its processes and activities in a scalable way considering our fast-paced global expansion.

    WHO YOU AREYou are based in Brazil (mandatory).You have 4+ years of experience in Brazilian Corporate Payroll and HR processes.

    You have knowledge of local labor legislation (Brazil or international).You have Advanced or Fluent English skills (will be tested).You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).You have experience with payroll outsourcing / working with a vendor.

    You have experience with SOx or audit processes.
    You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    You have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.#LI-Remote
