About the Position:

We are looking for a Hybrid Brushless ESCs and Motors Developer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. This professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing next-generation hybrid brushless ESCs and motors for our drones.

Responsibilities:

Electrical:

Design and develop electronic circuits for hybrid brushless ESCs and motors, including power topologies, control circuits, and communication interfaces.

Perform electrical simulations to ensure the performance, efficiency, and reliability of ESCs and motors.

Dimension and select appropriate electronic components for ESCs and motors.

Develop control software for ESCs, including speed and torque control algorithms, power management, and fault protection.

Perform electrical tests to validate the performance and reliability of ESCs and motors.

Mechanical:

Design and develop the mechanical structure of hybrid brushless motors, including housing, rotor, stator, and permanent magnets.

Perform mechanical simulations to ensure the rigidity, vibration, and thermal performance of the motors.

Dimension and select appropriate materials for the mechanical structure of the motors.

Develop manufacturing processes for the production of hybrid brushless motors.

Perform mechanical tests to validate the performance, reliability, and durability of the motors.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on embedded systems, motor control, or related fields (desirable).

Experience:

Proven experience in the design and development of ESCs and brushless motors.

Proven knowledge of power electronics, microcontrollers, embedded systems, and brushless motor control (for electrical engineers).

Proven knowledge of solid mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes (for mechanical engineers).

Proven programming skills in C or C++ language.

Proven experience in electronic and/or mechanical circuit simulation software.

Proven experience in testing and experimenting with ESCs and motors.

Proven effective written and oral communication skills.

Proven ability to work in a team and independently.

Problem-solving orientation and proven ability to solve problems.

Passion for technology and drones.

Availability to relocate to São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil.

Differentials:

Proven experience in developing hybrid brushless ESCs and motors for drones.

Proven knowledge of drone communication protocols (MAVLink, SBus, etc.).

Proven experience in brushless motor and/or mechanical simulation software.

Proven experience in troubleshooting ESCs and motors.

Fluency in English.

Salary:
