"Dream" of a recently retired worker ...!!!

He came in, apologized and sat down in my old rocking chair... was wet and asked to light the fireplace...
So, He looked at those old photos that were on the wall of living room... smiled... and at the same time serious told : These photos have now a yellow color, show you that you were always a healthy person, had a good family education, good health, had good studies, built a beautiful family, and had good children !!
Now you desire of interacting with every people to show your all experiences of the life, that God our Lord has left for you. ...and...I think...this is very good...!!
He kept speaking : ... I know you were never a rich person, didn't make much money, worked with sacrifice,... however God has always given to you the courage, persistence and health to live until today...!! So and by all this, now you are retired from your job fortunately.
He continued...and said :... now that you heard and understand me, I will help you to better reflect all those moments that you have lived, ... I will help you to do your self-analysis so that you understand about all your actions and also what you think, and how you feel now as a grown person and already with hairs as white as snow...!!
He kept talking :... Longevity is a blessing... !!! You have to celebrate,.. !! Being mature person is a privilege..!! Now, in the last and beautiful walk of your life it is possible that still you are not sure what steps you have to take...!! So I will tell you ... don't waste any more your time, and live every of this moments of the best way possible ...!! ... Don't talk all the time: "I'm a old person" ..." Old things are from the past ...!! "Old age is no excuse for we stop living"...!!
Many people are afraid of getting old,,!! The first thing that they think is that the other alternative we have is not any better..!! or either we get old... or we die...!!
It ridiculous that some people have to lie about their age. It is better to be 60 years old and to be well, than to be 60 years old, and to say that have 50, but... to have a face of 70. In this whole equation, the most important thing isn't how old these people have, but how they lived each of your years.that's what counts, kept talking "The Lord of my Time"...!!
Then, He spoke these wise words:...the way you are living is what will determine your old age. The body is a machine, and needs constant maintenance. It's no use trying to overhaul when the engine is about to burst, because besides a healthy body, you also need to keep your mind healthy.
Old age, or maturity, can be the most beautiful and quiet phase of life. Knowing to live makes us learn from our experiences and live with different generations. And if we let our hearts and minds always open to the changes taking place in the world, we can always become wiser without being outdated.
It is only when we are mature that we can understand what is really important in life, and we already know how to deal with problems that are very complicated for young people. Our eyes see life with care, and our body, although it seems heavier, allows us to walk with the lightness of soul like those who live happy in our long existence .. !!
The most important thing to live well in old age is to prepare for it.... It is to plant seeds along the path of life, to have shade to rest and fruits to reap...!!
After these wise words of "The Lord of myTime", I understood that now I have the right to enjoy every moment of life for being a free from prejudice, for be more authentic, but ever honestly with people. So by all this, maybe I will be a bit extravagant, and will not blame myself for eating a good stew, some extra cookie, or maybe buying something that did not want before or until then I did not know ... !
So, I continued speaking with gratefully because "He" showed me another sad reality of some people...I see that many of my friends left this world very early, before they realized the great freedom that comes with aging . After all this, I thanked for still be living this wonderful life and also recognizing for that our life is too short and that we should make the most of these good moments for to live in this wonderful world ... !!
By all this, still very cheerful I kept talking..., who will blame me if I decide to read or play computer games until late at night.. ??... And if I will sleep late ??...or if still I will able to sing and dance those wonderful successes of the 60s and 70s..??...Yes, if I want ...!! and if at the same time I will have the desire to cry for a lost love...??... Yes, I will cry !! ... this will bring comfort and good memories to my heart !!
And still very happy I will going to walk on the beach with my shorts a tight on a different body than I had years ago... and plunge into the waves when I will have desire, without worrying me about of other young people laughing me...Theyr will be going older someday,...,Yes, "Nature does not forgive" !!!
Also, I thanked "The Lord of my Time" for reminding himself that I have to know that sometimes I will forget some things ... But there are some things in life that must be forgotten ... I will remember the important things of course,but over the years my heart will suffer many times.... How can you not hurt your heart when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when a pet is struck by a car...?? But broken heart are what give us strength, understanding and compassion...!! A heart that has never suffered, is pure and sterile and will never know the joy of being imperfect .. !!
Thinking a lot, I continued saying that we are so blessed for live long enough to have our white hairs and for we having the memory of a young face forever etched on the face of an older person, like mine...!!
As I get older, it's easier to be positive ; I will care less about what others think... I don't will are question anymore... I won the right to are be wrong or to are think some badly, often without harming anyone. Finally, I will answer the question that many people with adulthood want to know...!!...Yes, I will say that feeling good now because I'm considered an old person: "The old age freed me"... ...really I like the person who I are now... know that I not going to live forever... I understand my current situation and I have to change my attitudes, my new life goals as much as possible, because according to the laws of the nature of God,His Creator,..."Time waits for no one "...!!
Finally the "Lord of my Time" saying goodbye for me in to my beautiful "dream," said the following:...The "Yesterday" belongs to the story"..!!... The "Tomorrow" is a mystery"..!! ... The"Today"...!!??... enjoy everything now of this beautiful life that our God has left to you, because the Today is my Gift to you .!! ... " I'M YOUR TIME "... !! ..."So, remember..., definitely I will find you someday... forever..!!
