Key job responsibilities
Guide our development teams by setting technical directions and providing standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and practices
Define system architectures and guide engineering teams on architectural and development best practices
Conduct POCs with various technologies, tools, and platforms in order to find the best solutions from a technological, operational, and business perspective
Educate and support development teams to help them resolve complex issues
Interact extensively with technology and business stakeholders in the company
Interact with users and stakeholders directly to understand the business problem and help guide them in their requirements

Essentials

10+ years of Big Data/database and/or analytics design and development, and/or IT and networking implementation/consulting experience

Profficiancy with big data technologies handling large data sets, databases, and cloud-based storage.

Proven experience with Azure platform data services

Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks

Proficiency with Azure Databricks and Azure data factory

4+ years of technical management experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a technical management role at a user-facing or consulting organization

Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external teams are necessary.
Presentation skills, including formal presentations, whiteboarding, and large and small group presentations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.

Advanced or fluent English is required
