Job Description:

3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets.

This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

Proven category leadership
Exposure to attractive endmarkets

Strong sales growth and profitability with significant recurring sales

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company".

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a(n) General Counsel in Brazil for the New Health Care Company you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:
- _ Partner closely with business clients and lead multidisciplinary projects for strategic legal advice._
- _ Identify and quantify legal risks, including exploring options and alternatives that provide a balance between risks and business objectives._
- _ Raise and monitor questions and legal discussions that have applicability to our businesses and operations of the company within Brazil and more broadly in LATAM._
- _ Support and accompany judicial and administrative claims._
- _ Provide recommendations, consultations, and training in their area of responsibility, including organizational policies or regulatory questions._
- _ Monitor and proactively manage legal issues occurring within LATAM, through direct involvement or through management of law firms._
- _ Support or align the activities of the department with the planning of the area._

To set you up for success in this role from day one, the following qualifications are required:

_ Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)_
Master's degree in Law (Law degree) from an accredited institution

- _ Active OAB_
- _ Strong proficiency in labor and employment laws, procedures and policies_
- _ Advanced English_
- _ Reside in the region of the company_

Experience with one or more major law firm
Advanced Spanish
At least five (5) years of management experience

Work location:

Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel

Travel:
May include up to 25% international
