Role Summary:


Contribute effectively in the implementation of research and development projects in order to provide support to the industrial operation in the development of new technologies, chemical inputs in partnership with suppliers, process optimization, product and raw materials, acting autonomously.

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:


  • Develop technical information to customers about the best way to utilize our products, fiberbased features and trials.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual planning of the department budget and establishing action plans and activity schedule, suggesting training, expenses and investments that contribute to the improvement of processes and development of new technologies aimed at improving quality, productivity and cost reduction.
  • Prepare reports under the guidance of technical and economic feasibility for the definition of new methodologies and technologies, and specify products and laboratory equipment for purchase, also perform the "start up" of new laboratory equipment.
  • Provide technical support to customers, with the service team, trying to propose occurrences solutions through laboratory simulation tests.
  • Conduct developments and product improvements through laboratory simulations of pulp and paper production processes, aiming qualitative gains of customer interest properties for each type of paper produced.
  • Developing methods and procedures and with reference Standards (ABNT, SCAN, ISO, TAPPI).
  • Followup of the quality management system activities related to the development process, participating in the company's management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, Zero Accident Program), supporting the team in the necessary activities.
  • Comply with the rules, the requirements of quality management systems and safety standards of work inherent to the sector, and the use of PPE / EPC's (Personal Protective Equipment / collective protective equipment) when the activity so demand.
  • To develop other activities of the office or at the discretion of his immediate superior, since it enabled and are in accordance with their knowledge and experience.

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications: - A degree in the related job field.

- Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.

- Willing to relocate to the job location.
