THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a
Accounting Analyst to our
Global Accounting team in São Paulo

This role is to join our Global Accounting team. You will be responsible for managing the accounting global monthly process. As an Accounting Analyst you will be expected to provide support to different departments on a daily basis.

You will be expected to manage a large portfolio of accounts where you will be responsible for understanding the finance and accounting department needs, presenting the reconciliations, reports and answer to daily queries of the global teams.

This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team in a diverse and dynamic environment. This role will work closely with the Accounting Director and Global Accounting Team.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Create/execute accounting routines, controls and reports;
  • Prepare financial statements in US and local GAAP and provide support to external auditors;
  • Support business processes including budgeting, KPI monitoring and P&L review;
  • Review the monthly, quarterly, and annual variances in general ledger accounts;
  • Monthly reconciliations and flux analysis;
  • Provide accounting guidance and technical assistance to other areas;
  • Coordination of the outsourced accounting team;
  • Identify and propose systems and process improvement.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field;
  • Proficiency with accounting software. Experience with Netsuite is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of accounting, finance and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations;
  • Flexible and willing to work in a fast paced changing environment;
  • Advanced English
  • CRC is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and exceptional attention to detail
  • A strong communicator who is both tenacious and goaloriented
  • International work experience is preferred
