We are seeking a Procurement Master Data Specialist to take the lead in ensuring the integrity, cleanliness, and efficiency of our crucial master data for key procurement functions like Purchase Orders, Purchase Information Records, Source Lists, Outline Agreements, and Vendor Purchasing Org/Plant data.

In this essential role, you'll be instrumental in our journey from three legacy systems to the S/4 HANA platform.

This position is a Global role, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Depending on where the person is hired, 20% travel may be required to Europe.

You will be a part of the Procurement Excellence team, which helps the Business Area Procurement teams exhibit excellence and maturity by establishing procedures and tools and disseminating best-in-class practices across the organization, allowing for informed procurement choices.

The team members are enthusiastic about delivering value to support critical projects and activities within the organization that add to the organization's overall efficiency and effectiveness.

We are presently working on projects that are directly related to our tools, ensuring that we have the best updates in place and adjusting our process accordingly.


We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Business Area Procurement Heads, SAPphire Program team, IT organization, and external Consultants.

We are rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to achieving our shared goals.

The members in our immediate team are based in Finland, Brazil and Canada. However please note that stakeholders are located globally.

What you'll do

Act as the "Product Owner" for a specific data asset, collecting stakeholder requirements.
Shape the data development roadmap for the asset and ensure action plans are implemented.
Take a leading role in data-related projects and programs, aligning with business needs.
Define and uphold data standards and principles for the asset.
Proactively validate reports, address issues, and dive into critical transactions to improve stakeholder service.
Support procurement process development guidelines creation and provide necessary training.
Help in data process development and maintaining JAGGAER data quality.
Ensure data validity and integrity before migrating to S/4 HANA, considering Metso's ERP systems.

Who you are

Experience in data management or development within Master Data Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
Solid proficiency in SAP, with exposure to S/4 HANA preferred.
Experienced in MM (Materials Management) module in SAP, Procure to Pay SAP processes
Excellent Excel skills (VLookup, XLookup, etc)
Knowledge of data quality, cleansing, and data harmonization.
Familiarity with SAP best practices for data migration.
Strong ability to work independently, analyze critically, and provide innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Strong familiarity with other IT tools and ERP/integrated systems.
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
