Also, you will help the team to achieve targets from Volvo Mission and Vision, and targets from VFS Strategic Objectives, always aligned with Volvo policies and guidelines, also achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives set for Retail Credit area.


Professional Experience:


  • Banking and credit practices and knowledge of financial products;
  • Credit reports, underwriting experience, credit bureau analysis and decision recommendation;
  • Credit experience on own owner (PF) and Company entity (PJ);
  • Credit experience in the sectors of Trucks, Bus and/or Construction equipment, as well as experience with captive banks will be a differential.
  • Experience interpreting and preparing written summaries of key information, and assessing the potential impact to the borrower is necessary;
  • Credit Scoring/scorecards/modeling experience;
  • Demonstrated experience issuing credit decisions and financial statements analysis as;
  • Financial statement analysis includes ratio analysis, common sizing, review of industry norms, trending, and cash flow analysis High standard of professionalism and integrity;
  • Established credit underwriting and analytical skills, including familiarity with financial statements, ratio analysis, common sizing, review of industry norms trending, cash flow analysis, credit bureau reports, commercial business reports.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct deep and highly specialized credit analysis based on financial and operational information;
  • Structure credit requests according to business and customers' requirements, keeping in line with credit and risk policies, procedures and strategies;
  • Elaborate, decide and communicate credit decisions in properly time, and in accordance with guidelines of risk and market requirements;
  • Maximize the portfolio value, carefully examining new credit requests;
  • Conduct credit analysis based on overall information including the experience of applicant in the segment, and Financial Statement (ig. Balance Statements, Trial balance results);
  • Ensure compliance with central bank requirements;
  • Provide support with the necessary information for the formalization area issues to the appropriate contracts;
  • Attend internal and external audits on underwriting process;
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of credit files and recommend credit lines for current and prospective customers;
  • Assists in the development and implementation of procedures to minimize risk and improve underwriting quality;

Main Competencies and Skills requirements:


  • Demonstrated experience issuing credit decisions and financial statements analysis as: ratio analysis, common sizing, review of industry norms, trending, cash flow analysis, credit bureau reports, and commercial business reports;
  • Established credit underwriting and analytical skills, including familiarity with financial statements, ratio analysis, common sizing, review of industry norms trending, cash flow analysis, credit bureau reports, commercial business reports.
  • Advanced English (speaking, reading and writing skills)
  • Excellent computer skills and MS Office 365 experience;
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally and effective decisionmaking skills;
  • Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks, in a fast paced, demanding environment;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, to develop and maintain good relationships with business areas, OEMs, dealers, and customers, always in line with our values;
  • Human relations competency including the ability to proactively develop a change culture and improvements.
  • Visit customers to better evaluate their financial healthy and sustainability;
  • Travel will be necessary.
