The Role
As an Accounting Manager at Overhaul you will be responsible for supporting Accounting operations on our Finance team.

The Accounting Manager serves a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Finance function by ensuring the integrity of accounting information in Brazil by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in the financial system.

A successful Accounting Manager combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

You will have to think fast, make decisions on your feet, and constantly think about how to make things better and more efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and testing and implementation of the Netsuite ERP operating system for the Brazilian subsidiary.
  • Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices. Reviewing invoices to ensure billing accuracy. Reviewing sales sheets to ensure the billing of all sales. Reconciling invoices with balance sheet reports and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Reconciles revenue accounts each month.
  • Assist in financial planning and analysis activities across our Brazilian business unit: from researching local compliance guidelines, preparing month end journal entries through to reconciliations and preparation of the month end financial reporting to the Board of Directors
  • Develop, Monitor KPI, and identify the cause of any unexpected variances
  • Provided timely tracking and insights on financial performance against forecast and budgets Provide monthly reporting for both management and external stakeholders on current and future financial performance
  • Performs detailed analysis on product costs to assist in the development of standard costs and understanding of variances
  • Establishes procedures and formulates guidelines for conducting inventory cycle counts as needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process
  • Ensuring that effective internal financial controls are in place
  • Assisting in the tax and regulatory reporting requirements of Brazilian entity

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in an accounting function
  • Experience with Net suite ERP implementations
  • Strong experience in monthclose and consolidationaccounting
  • Excellent business modeling skills using fully functioning templates with quantifiable analyses for improved business decisioning.
  • Support business forecasting and planning
  • Strong understanding of balance sheet, financial presentation, and key operating ratios
  • Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge with experience in developing internal controls
  • Experience with tax compliance
  • CRC license preferred, but not required
