What would your role look like?


This position works under guided direction and is primarily responsible for supporting the planning, organization, execution, as well as integration and completion of small and medium-sized projects.

This position will be within a Global Engineering structure, supporting local business initiatives reporting directly to project management - global engineering in Valinhos


Some Activities:


  • Develop technical solutions, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, communication plans, risk/contingency plans and other information needed to support project development.
  • Interact technically with the various stages of the project (design, construction, installation, testing and completion) with a forward thinking mindset. Facilitate problem resolution and escalate information/issues when needed.
  • Keep up to date with new industry developments in engineering techniques, machinery, equipment, materials, etc. and incorporate innovations into the engineering function for the best benefit of the Company. Work with other teammates to develop standards.
  • Research and develop special plans and feasibility studies (eg, equipment purchases, facility expansion, factory layout changes, construction changes, etc.). Estimate expenses, cost reductions and manufacturing savings to meet production targets. Research can be done independently or in cooperation with external resources.
  • Follow all Company safety and sanitation regulations and provide engineering recommendations to help area managers reduce or eliminate employee exposure to injury or illness.
  • Support in the supervision and direction of internal and external resources assigned to projects.
  • Actively participate in departments and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with all levels of personnel in the production environment, including operators, maintenance personnel, supervisors and management.

Who are we looking for?
Desirable experience and knowledge in a manufacturing and project environment.

Familiar with reading and interpreting drawings/technical specifications.
Ability to understand technical design specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Office and CAD is required.

Advanced English required
