Job Description Summary:
Sr. Operations Manager


Essential Responsibilities

  • Respond for total GA LAM sales and margin
  • Develop and execute long and shortterm OTR strategies
  • Directly lead the Sourcing, PMO, Contract Admin, Project Management, Field Engineering & customer support teams
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices for improving our products, systems or services delivery processes.
  • Uses an understanding of industry trends to the decisionmaking process
  • Uses a high level of judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in OTR.
  • Adopt a coaching attitude with directly leaders, provide them with timely, relevant and direct feedback to help them develop their leadership skills
  • Supporting in building organizational capacity, reducing complexity and maximizing team performance
  • Has the ability to assess the quality of incoming information and question conflicting data for analysis
  • Communicates complex messages and negotiates primarily internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
  • Influences colleagues to act and may negotiate with external partners, suppliers or customers
  • Proactively contribute to the lessons learnt process for OTR to simplify GE processes

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (desirable: electric/electronic/automation)
  • Native Portuguese, fluent English and desirable Spanish
  • Professional work experienced in delivery to customers area
  • Demonstrated experienced in regional or global missions.
  • Team leadership experience

  • Postgraduate or master's degree
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Natural leadership and capacity for crossfunctional influence to mobilize and commit resources when necessary
