DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Team Lead)- LocationBrazil - São PauloThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products.

The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.


About the Team:


  • Responsible for Fraud prevention in the marketplace, including chargeback management and fraud loss prevention in marketplace activities. The Head of Fraud will be accountable for driving initiatives and exploring opportunities to improve approval rate, fraud controls and keep cost and losses controlled. Must be a clear communicator at executive level, strong data driven profile, and able to manage multiple teams.
  • Fraud rules/model management: Identify opportunities to implement and improve predictive data models, including the selection of features and the implementation of different techniques for the optimization of payment approvals and chargeback;
  • Feature management: Identify process and product gaps and define feature requests to address fraudrelated issues and improve user experience;
  • Communication: Develop clear written presentations and communicate with senior leadership;
  • Monitoring and loss reporting: Own and be responsible for approval rates performance and fraud loss KPIs;
  • Supporting other teams: Drive and coordinate fraudrelated initiatives across different Shopee teams (local and regional);
  • Vendor management: Manage relationships with external providers and seek opportunities to optimize cost and fraud prevention performance.

Requirements:


  • Degree required in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or other Business related areas;
  • Fluent English;
  • Experience leading fraud prevention teams.
