ADP is hiring a Senior SRE Analyst.

In this role, you will work to improve system resilience, implement observability at various layers, use cloud-based services, and work to ensure our customers have the best experience with our products.


Throughout the day, you will create dashboards, implement observability techniques such as SLA and SLO, create metrics (SLI) to improve observability.

We will address alerts and work on incidents, but also work with development teams to implement resilience improvements in the systems.

To thrive in this development career, you need to have extensive knowledge in systems monitoring and distributed architecture. You also need to be familiar with cloud services like AWS, Kubernetes, and RDS. It's important to have knowledge in programming languages such as Java or

Python, and the use of infrastructure tools such as code and GitOps.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Design, implement, and maintain monitoring tools, log analysis, metric collection and analysis to provide complete visibility of systems.
  • Identify and solve performance, scalability, and reliability issues in systems, ensuring that SLAs are met.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:


  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid work model, reporting directly to our Porto Alegre Office location.
  • Strong experience in distributed systems, focusing on observability, using modern tools and techniques.
  • Excellent skills in monitoring, collecting and analyzing metrics, log analysis, with a focus on the user experience.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, bottleneck identification, and performance and scalability troubleshooting in largescale distributed systems.
  • Experience with observabilityoriented software development practices, such as continuous integration testing and developing features to provide greater system visibility.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python or Java and familiarity with platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
