South America Projects Consultant to join its office in
Macaé, Brazil within the Energy Project Solutions Division.


Mission:

Focus on providing various clients with engineering advice and technical solutions on different projects


Responsibilities:

Depending on the project size, can be responsible for all or part of the scope of work in the project;
Can be responsible of internal staff and external consultants;
Interact with clients and colleagues to achieve project objectives using appropriate technical judgment;
Able to discuss and define client requirements; reflecting a clear understanding in Business Development well written technical reports and proposals;
Develop an understanding of RINA business processes in order to prepare commercial and technical proposals;
Assess clients' needs and translate them into designs, equipment, or new systems under the supervision of a consultant. From the initial concept stage through to completion, they manage project timelines and oversee all developments;

Plan technical solution:
engineering consultants find unique ways to resolve technical issues without affecting the overall completion deadline or affecting the involvement from other departments or external companies;
Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of more experienced consultants. Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentation and engineering drawings, etc.);
Create documents and reports that detail their assessments, any fact-finding survey data acquired, the project's inception, and concept planning;
Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites to take measurements, answer contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer, and serve as liaisons between engineering and construction personnel;
Be aware and understand the Quality Policy. Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS. Be aware of the quality of his own work and its impact on

service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role;

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General
