Highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to be responsible for overseeing and managing the legal department's operations in Brazil and ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

The role will involve providing strategic legal advice, managing legal risks, and supporting the company's business objectives across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
Advise senior management on legal matters, including contractual, regulatory, and compliance issues, and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
Review and negotiate complex agreements, contracts, and legal documents, ensuring they align with the company's legal standards and objectives.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations in different jurisdictions and proactively advise the company on potential impacts and necessary actions.
Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as Compliance, HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure legal compliance and support business initiatives.
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice on a wide range of legal issues.
Develop and deliver legal training programs to enhance legal awareness and compliance across the organization.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators, industry associations, and law firms, to stay informed about legal developments and best practices.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the bar and authorized to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position within multinational companies.
Indepth knowledge of international laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the company's industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team and drive results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and managing legal risks in a multinational environment.
Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and cultures, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
