The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production International you will have the opportunity to:

  • Rotate within all units of Peregrino fields (FPSO, WHP-A, WHP-B and WHP-C) and contribute both as Lead and Mechanical Technician.
  • Safe and efficient operations within area including vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Lead the entire process plant equipmentand mechanics technicians on board.
  • Lead the maintenance of equipments used in your area according to management system.
  • Identify deviations from standard operating conditions and initiate corrective actions with the use of SAP.
  • Propose changes in practices and plans to improve reliability and efficiency, including needs of spare parts and consumables.
  • Contribute and stimulate others to contribute with safety system program of the company.
  • Continuously monitors and adjust the spare parts and consumables stock to ensure high equipment up time.
  • Ensure high housekeeping standards in the plant.
  • Be a role model for safety, diversity, and inclusion.

For this position, we are also looking for:

  • Mechanical Technical Degree (or other related areas) with active CFT.
  • Technical knowledge in crane and rotating equipment such as turbines but also heat exchangers, HVAC and valves.
  • Intermediate language skills in English isdesired and fluent Portuguese is mandatory.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems, and office computer systems. SAP will be beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&ID's.
  • Mandatory experience working offshore.
