At Epiroc, our Parts & Services (PSD) Division provide a complete range of services with the aim of maximizing customers' productivity.

The division focus on spare parts supply, supply chain and professional service, support solutions and training. Epiroc Brazil Customer Center, is now recruiting for a Business Line Manager - PSD.

This role would be based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais state, Brazil.

  • The role of Business Line Manager-Parts and Service (PSD) is responsible for results of this Business Line (BL) in Brazil. You will be expected to provide dynamic leadership to the team to optimize deliverables for all four verticals (Sales & Marketing
  • Operations including Work Shop and Supply Chain

  • The position reports to General Manager and will be an integral part of the management team. We operate as 'One Epiroc ́ and the role of this position is to be a center of collaboration. The role is important to drive objectives in line with Epiroc group strategy; adding value for customer, creating sustained customer experience and loyalty, generating financial growth and profit, covering Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for PSD as well as associated operational efficiencies.
  • We are looking at a strong leader who ideally has hands on experience and knowledge of the mining and construction market, is passionate about working with people and growing them while delivering consistent results. We require a result oriented individual with an established track record of successful customer management, proven commercial skills and negotiation ability with strong analytical capability to grasp and execute strategic objectives
  • The work environment includes being occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. Personal Protection equipment is needed on occasion in this role. This position is considered Safety Sensitive
  • Responsible for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for PSD operations.
  • Develop business plans, revenue forecasts, budgets, organization structure, service centers based on current fleet of capital equipment and expected addition over the next 3 years and manage PSD to achieve desired results.
  • Key drivers will be Territory management practices and customer satisfaction.
  • Cooperate effectively with crossfunctional teams and Divisional team to deliver output.
  • Ensure that all safety related aspects are managed and adhered to in each area and all Epiroc's facilities of responsibility.
  • Oversee technical training and development of PSD team to provide tools and processes for excellent service.
  • Manage and optimize performance of large service agreements together with a team of site managers.
  • Drive and manage local team of the area and ensure a team of highperforming and collaborative employees by recruiting from a diverse pool and following Epiroc's recruiting practices and developing competencies of the team. Continuously improve gender diversity and employment equity in the area.
  • Safeguard Epiroc's future through effective succession planning (grow second line of managers);
  • Ensure every team member is contributing in a positive way to the Company goals, and identify continuous improvement opportunities in team setup.
  • Work seamlessly with Capital equipment BLMs so as promote Epiroc as a total solution.
  • Develop close relationships with all key stakeholders and drive Governance Structure formulated to meet customer at different levels at regular intervals.

Experience and educational requirements

  • A result oriented and experienced professional in the aftermarket field.
  • A proven record of accomplishment in aftermarket with a strong commercial knowledge.
  • Preferable Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanics/electrics) or extensive relevant experience in the mining and construction business in lieu of formal education
  • MBA would be advantageous for the position.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
