This new company formed by all these industrial sites, kaolin mine, port access and Hubs is foreseen to start its operation under a new brand on March 31th, 2023.

The revenue in 2021 was 400 million euros. It will offer mineral solutions for industries worldwide. All the sites are already working and producing. About 950 employees total.


Besides serving lots of the paper and board markets nowadays, this new company will use its global footprint, unique assets and longstanding know-how to develop new business opportunities and foster innovation.

Sustainability is a core value of this Company.


Regarding employment, the Company needs to reinforce existing teams to operate as a standalone organization but also to meet its ambitious development plans.

Branding and name of the Company are currently defined and will be communicated largely very soon.


Responsabilidades e atribuições
The role requires active participation across the accountability to deliver the financial targets of the perimeter, considering

strong emphaszis on cash optimization, focus on opex and capex control, responsabily over Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury.

  • Act as a business partner and lead a fact based decision making process;
  • Active involvement in all the key decisions related to opex, capex, contract negotiation, tax, legal;
  • Ensure a full compliance with local statutory obligations and Group internal process and procedures;
  • Supervise monthend close and manage interactions with BA Controlling and SSC when applicable;
  • Monitore closely tax legislation changes and propose optimization planning;
  • Ensure all financial reporting for his/her perimeter / organization;
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement on ensure quality of internal control and processes;
  • Supervise monthend closing activities;
  • Check accuracy of deliverables within his/her scope within allocated time;
  • Validate provisions and accruals;
  • Responsible for statutory filings;
  • Reconcile statutory and management books;
  • Supervise tax filing and tax returns;
  • Monitor Regulatory changes of accounting and taxes;
  • Responsible for local annual audit;
  • Solve internal audit points related to finance;
  • Ensure management procedures are put into practice;
  • Identify problem areas in the processes and work with team to generate solutions;
  • Drive and supervise the implementation of new solutions;
  • Set priorities, alert management of any identified risk;
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals.

Requisitos e qualificações

  • Experience in finance leadership positions, as a country or regional FD;
  • Proven track record in delivering finance and nonfinance targets;
  • Impactful handson detailledoriented professional with a strong sense of accountability;
  • Strong backrgound in Controlling;
  • Knowledge of tax and legal rules and practices;
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS);
  • Design and implementation of process improvements and controls;
  • Ability to handle complex financial information and financial risk;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Mandatory experience in the Manufacturing industry.
