The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute and follow up developing efficient maintenance programs for surface protection;
  • Contribute and follow up execution of surface maintenance and corrosion under insulation;
  • Contribute and follow up budget responsibility for the delivery team;
  • Work closely with operations on our assets in Brazil;
  • Collaborate closely with and develop Equinor's suppliers;
  • Identify, develop, and implement technologies to improve HSE, productivity and costs;
  • Develop your own project management skills following ISS (Insulation, Scaffolding and Surface Treatment) campaigns execution on daily basis and acting to ensure we succeed;
  • Use your technical background to improve the way we work by contributing to build a knowledgebased and innovative culture;
  • Collaborate and exchange experience across the global Equinor organization.

For this position, we are also looking for:

  • Eligibility to hold an active CREA;
  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Materials or Metallurgic are preferred, but relevant experience may compensate);
  • Fluent English and Portuguese;
  • Strong safety mindset;
  • Technical background within materials, corrosion and/or maintenance management;
  • Experience within operation and maintenance of offshore installations;
  • Interested in developing project leader skills and coordination of activities and developing new technologies;
  • Collaborative and solutionoriented;
  • Compliant to workprocesses and requirements to ensure a safe work practice;
  • Knowledge of the supplier industry in Brazil;
  • Occasional offshore embarks are required.
