Continuous Improvement Senior Manager


Leading a team composed of individual contributors (first level of management) to achieve the expected performance on the activities within its scope and aligned with the IT strategy.


Seek long-term satisfaction:
- of users and business managers "internal customers"
- of his team by implementing empowerment and continuous development of people


KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Monitor Key Value Chain Process and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ensure management of KPIs to monitor the performance of processes and customer satisfaction in a mindset of Plan, Do, Check and Act framework.
  • Seek and share bottomup opportunities for improvement based on KPI performance and team suggestions
  • Manage the Prioritization of opportunities with Platform Leadership Team
Continuous Improvement Portfolio Management and Project Management

  • Manage the Progress initiatives portfolio aligned with his/her entity's strategic ambitions
  • Ensure the implementation of transformation analysis and projects as well as the responsibility for the achievement of the associated objectives within the prescribed deadlines and at the best cost
Internal IT projects delivery and management

  • Identify and prioritize internal IT projects
  • Manage internal IT projects within budgets and timelines
Team and People Management

  • Promote Continuous Improvement across the Platform. Establish regular communication with each group and ensure engagement to improve process and eliminate waste.
  • Ensure that pressure is maintained on process and not people.
  • Manage IT members and ensures roles are clear and the workload is well balanced
  • Plan and facilitate team members' skill development in order to enlarge their expertise and teamwork abilities
  • Coach team members on Lean/Agile methods and practices, and act as ''Scrum Master''

EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information System or any other related discipline.
  • A Master's degree in business administration would be an asset.
  • 10 years in IT industry with 5 years of experience in managing teams and leading IT projects and/or operations.
  • Experience in managing in a scrum / agile environment will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing skills
  • Be customer oriented and ability to work globally
