As an Apprentice, you will gain insight into the Western Union administrative process and develop your skills on an administrative and communications level.

You will get the opportunity to work on various projects across the business, focusing on supporting our Marketing Team.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with no previous office experience to get their first look-in into the corporate world.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a looking-forward company, identifying opportunities and issues to drive brand/business growth. Western Union is expanding its operation in Brazil by launching new stores to support our customers better. You'll be responsible for providing best-in-class ideas and initiatives to keep the pace of the company's growth.


Role Responsibilities

  • You will gain experience in different areas of the Marketing daily routine.
  • Assist with the rollout of largescale campaigns and initiatives in a multicultural environment.
  • Be responsible for updating and version budget control and payments.
  • Work closely with external agencies to develop creative assets and implement campaigns.
  • Support the demand from our stores and agents regarding POS Materials and the creation of marketing comms.
  • On completion, you will have attained skills in formatting documents, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and filing in coordination with other staff and valuable experience in Marketing.

Role Requirements

  • Ideally, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field, studying on the night shift.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Intermediate / Advance English knowledge (verbal and written)
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to confidently use Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, mainly)
  • An interest in currency / financial markets
  • You need to be proactive, assertive, and happy to assist others with a variety of tasks.
