Essential Functions

Oversee proposals/offerings through developments of scopes and specification as needed including those for sub-contracts and suppliers whilst ensuring all are processes through appropriate channels to ensure integrity of commercial and quality to meet customer expectations and timeframes.

Define the value of Metso Outotec spares for our customers and disseminate this knowledge through the organization and to our customers.

Job

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Field Service and repairs product offering strategy and roadmap, working closely with Professional Engineering (PSE) deployment team.
Responsible for developing and supporting commercializing and launching of field service and repairs products.
Responsible for creating field services and repairs products sales and go-to-market strategies.
Work with market areas and PSE to understand the needed labor and repairs product offering and future development needs.
Manage and maintain all product data management needs associated with the labor and repairs product offerings.
Collaborate with PSE/ISS (integrated services solutions) to develop life cycle services (LCS) offerings.
Responsible for providing expert content to training team and if needed participate into training events.
Validate and approve field service (FSE) product information.
Maintain product and service safety bulletins and ensure proper distribution and communication.
Create global procedures for productized labor offering in collaboration with PSE. Support PSE to localize safety requirements and prepare ad hoc general maintenance activates.
Coordinate repair procedures with PSE repairs product management support.
Ensure that all work undertaken on BMH machinery parts and services complies fully with Metso Outotec specifications and standards.
Undertake promotion work including presentations and seminars to aid development of the BMH machinery's services business.

This should include regular site visits as part of product support to customers with introduction of other resources as needed.

Be actively involved in the BMH global community and provide inhouse training to aid overall promotion of the products.

Have a solid knowledge of operation of bulk material handling machines and embrace all technological improvements to heighten maintainability, operability, and availability.

Other Duties

Complete monthly report processing for senior management, local and global, to aid management of the business at multiple management levels.

Service engineering and quality to ensure product needs and customer expectations are met.
Work closely with others within BMH team globally to aid and develop the business to meet Metso Outotec expectations.
Facilitate training of staff in new procedures and protocols.
Active involvement in HSE processes with heavy commitment on safety and ensure this is translated throughout the business.

Maintain a high profile on site in conjunction with Metso Outotec service teams to ensure full compliance with the Metso Outotec's 'Life Saving Rules'.

Performance Metrics

Order growth of field service and repairs products.
Part business generation.
Product safety bulletins.
Product development budget.
Customer satisfaction.
Service product development KPIs.
Number of certifications created/maintained.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Employees are expected to adhere to Metso Outotec's established Leadership Principles.

Travel

Ability to travel internationally overnight 25% or more, frequently on short notice.

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferably in Mineral Processing, Mining, Mechanical Engineering, or another related stream.

Experience:

Minimum 10 (ten) years' experience in field services, engineering, product support or product management role for large project activities, preferably with bulk material handling products in the field of mining, mineral processing, or industrial minerals equipment.

Minimum 5 (five) years' experience in bulk material handling field.
