About Lubrizol
Summary
The Export Analist Pl position is responsible for export orders from booking confirmation receipt until final delivery. The role is vital to the success of the Global Logistics group. The key duties consist primarily of daily tasks needed to meet our external and internal goals.
The role liaises with Export Customer Service, Freight Forwarders Carriers and Supply Chain Representatives to ensure that we meet our customer's expectations and ship materials in a timely manner.
The Logistics Associate is the primary contact for transportation related tasks linked to export shipments.Essential Job Functions
- Booking confirmation receipts from freight forwarders
- Monitoring export orders for ontime pickup
- Document submittal from Freight Forwarders to ocean carriers and document submittal from freight forwarders to destination country import broker
- Monitoring of orders from PGI, to sailing and to final delivery
- Communication back to Export Customer Service on any issues that will impact our delivery as promised to our internal and external customers
- Provide points of contact for Lubrizol global colleagues to streamline communication
- Participate in carrier service and issue resolution
- Participate in carrier monthly/quarterly reviews
- Provide backup coverage for other Logistic Associates
Experience and Skills
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technical, Supply Chain, or other related fields or equivalent experience.
- At least five (5) years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Proficient in English. Ability to communicate in local language where needed is a plus;
- Export order processing knowledge, such as incoterms, compliance and export documentation;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through;
- Ability to investigate, summarize, offer creative solutions, take initiative and work independent of supervision;
- Results orientation with a "can do" attitude;
- Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office software programs;
- Enthusiastic, diplomatic, and possess excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain;
- SAP experience;
- Experience specific to production scheduling, and the transportation industry.
