- Press/Key Influencer engagement
- Build and maintain influential relationships with target media - technology, business and lifestyle
- Work closely with peers in across the global and regional teams in Analyst Relations, Investor Relations, Marketing and Social Media
- Coach and prepare executives/teams for media/influencer interactions
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications as well as other business groups teams in planning and execution of corporate initiatives
- Program planning, execution and measurement
- Build and define the strategic list and media maps of industry and general business media and influencers alongside the country Comms Leads, and drive targeted media programs focused on those influencers.
- Create and execute a comprehensive PR plan to maximize awareness and quality coverage for Motorola coverage and drive favorable perception with target media / influencers
- Manage the PR budgets and direct the activities of PR agency
- Work with the key LA technology evangelists and business leaders on positioning Motorola within media
- Develop a clear set of objectives and key performance indicators for the Public Relations team
- Measure results and regularly update management on media impact Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- MBA is a plus
- Advanced / Fluent English
- Advanced / Fluent Spanish
- Advanced / Fluent Portuguese
- Proven experience within PR area
- Proven experience in LA roles
- Experience with premium products, fashion and luxury goods are a plus

The Senior PR Manager of Latam will lead and execute Public relations strategies to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As a communication advisor, the professional will be always focused on promoting and protecting its image.
The main responsibilities include managing the company's reputation, developing and implementing public relations plans, overseeing the public relations market leaders (local agencies) over the region and cultivating relationships with the press (tech, business, lifestyle), bloggers, influencers, industry analysts and other key stakeholders.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished PR professional to build the reputation, market confidence and brand strength of a challenger in the smart devices industry. The Senior PR Manager is responsible for monitoring media coverage, identifying opportunities for positive coverage, and managing reputational crises when necessary. They will also be tasked with developing communications materials such as press releases, Q&A, speeches, articles and social media posts, ensuring that the company's message is consistent and aligned with its strategic objectives. A good experience on launch events and press tours are also very welcome for this role.
In the internal communications side, this professional will have the responsibility to use communications as a tool for engaging employees with the company goals and objectives and making them brand ambassadors/advocates.
In the process, the successful candidate will play a leading role in defining and building the organization's external communications strategy and capabilities. Finally, this professional will be working collaboratively with the MBG senior leadership team, marketing, product and corporate communication colleagues, including at the global level.
This position generally requires significant public relations experience, solid verbal and written communication skills, leadership ability, strategic thinking, and the ability to work under pressure. A degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field is generally required, along with prior experience in public relations or corporate communications roles.
