Job Purpose and Impact

The FSQR Supply Chain Lead will ensure adherence to the facility's food safety, regulatory and quality programs and customer specifications in order to produce food safe and quality products.

In this role, you will manage and develop relationships with the supply chain and contract sanitation teams.

You will identify problems or bottlenecks in processes and resolve issues, ensure resources, including materials, equipment and human resources are available and support continuous improvement goals in food safety, quality, cost and customer service.

In addition, you will work with other departments on root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventative measures to ensure that they are effective.

Key Accountabilities

Conduct verification and maintenance of the food safety and quality systems, hazard analysis programs, sanitation procedures, prerequisite programs, finished product.
Collaborates with operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary.
Ensure adherence to corporate, regulatory, customer and facility food safety and quality requirements and completion of corrections and corrective actions.
Lead relevant regional, corporate and regulatory food safety focused audits.
Act as food safety team leader, coordinate and lead the food safety team and overseeing the food safety management system and management review.
Manage food safety management system compliance to appropriate government regulations.
Investigate and follow up on food safety incidents that occur in the supply chain process to ensure they are reported and that corrective action and permanent corrections are taken.
Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
Completes regular selfassessment, and reports compliance KPIs
Keeper the KPI's mapping actions to improve it aligned with regional and global expectations
Other duties as assigned Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience in internal and external audits for Quality Management System/Food Safety Management System position in reputed food industry
Solid related work experience
Experience in operations and supply chain areas
Advanced English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Lead Auditor Certification for ISO 9001:2015 / FSSC 22000
Advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Package)
Microbiology knowledge
Advanced technical knowledge related to quality and auditing standards, regulatory practices and operational food safety policies/ procedures
