Kenvue is hiring a
R&D Manager to be focus in Wound Care Category and based in São José dos Campos.

The R&D Manager will lead the development of new products, commercial claims and life cycle management, with a large focus in the North American market.

The person shall have excellent knowledge on new product development for engineered products, claim development process, good communication skills with different areas (specially marketing and supply chain), and the ability to organize, mentor and motivate others.

Will provide strategic, tactical and operational management skills in the planning and execution of the projects to drive results that impact the business financial goals through functional R&D activities, delivering Life cycle projects and driving Global portfolio management for Wound care and support all critical supply chain projects and new product innovations.

Be LATAM R&D contact for the local leadership team.

Mainly Task & Responsibilities:

Provide instruction, training and supervision to younger scientists and manage routine processes
Provide endtoend support to the entire Wound Care portfolio manufactured in Brazil
Establish connection and guidance to the Wound Care APAC team on lifecycle management projects
Keep up to date with competitor trends and consumer needs in the category
Manage global budget according to global and regional priorities
Plan and organize projects, defining scope, targets and problem resolution methods
Work independently with the ability to innovate in new methodologies and processes
Ability to manage complexity, risktaking and decision making are critical components of the role in providing guidance to project peers in relation to technical problems
Participate and lead crossfunctional project teams
Good communication skills are key to the role in making the bridge amongst LATAM, US and APAC teams.

Qualifications

What we expect that you have:

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Sciences, Pharmacy or Physics.
Fluent English.
Advanced Spanish will be a plus.
A minimum of 2 years of People Management experience.
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Product Development of Consumer Products and/or new technologies.
Previous experience in Consumer Company will be a plus.
Availability to work in São José dos Campos.
