The Rig Electrician assists the Chief Electrician with the installation, maintenance and repairs of all rig associated electrical equipment. Service quality, job preparation, planning and safety are key priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Participates in pretour and toolbox meetings with all members of the maintenance crew.
Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the HSE policies, standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Obtains certifications/competencies as required for duties assigned.
Maintains all electrical equipment in safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric equipment around the rig and the rig camp as requested by his direct supervisor.
Perform daily checklists and report any problem or deviation.
Is familiar with the preventive maintenance programs in place.

Qualifications and Experience:

2 to 4 years of field experience in similar or equivalent environment.
Industrial Electrical or Electronics certificate or equivalent, with a willingness to do physically challenging activities in potentially harsh environments
CTF ative
Advanced English
SAP, ERP experience
