Profile:
- Experience in Satcoms systems engineering with a knowledge of system design, ground segment design;
- Experience in Satcom RF;
- Experience in IP networking, protocols;
- Thorough understanding of communications systems and associated engineering concepts;
- Experience in developing requirements systems design documentation, test plans and procedures and operational procedures;
- Proven track record of identifying and solving problems;
- Practical experience in the commissioning and testing of satellite systems (ground based);
- Good customerfacing and communication skills with ability to produce and present clear, concise and unambiguous presentations to customers and other clients;
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to identify key issues and to solve daytoday challenges and issues;
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions to defined problems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage ground satellite network;
- Configuration management of SATCOM Systems;
- Troubleshoot RF or platform issues;
- Establish and validate requirements for satellites networks based on end user needs;
- Duties will include documentation of interventions, troubleshooting, Network KPI's;
- Support L2 teams;
- Liaise with the project manager and project support staff to enable them to provide effective and informed reporting.
