We are looking for a bold, organized, business-oriented professional to play a leading role in the growth of Itubombas, an Atlas Copco Group company, Specialty Rental division.

The Role
We are looking for a new team member to join this amazing company in full expansion.


The Business Controller plays a key role in the control and guidance of rental's financial results and operations acting as an effective storyteller that translate the numbers into business insights.

Often, the Business Controller works as bridge connecting people, areas and process towards to the business plan.

Also proactively collaborate in the achievement of finance roadmap for next years in the following pillars:

  • Operational efficiency
  • Process
  • Business partner
  • Digitalization
  • People competence
The expectation is to create value to the business providing support such as:

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with The Way We Do Things and the business requirements
  • Promote digitalization in the finance department to drive change and create efficient, best practice processes
  • Act as an strategic business partner in analyzing financial data
  • Be point of contact for audits and Holding support needed
  • Understand the key drivers of the organization and how internal changes can impact the overall performance
  • Eager to learn and promote continuous improvement process in ERP system, Sisloc
  • Be actively leader in all projects within division
  • Recommend and implement internal control improvements
  • Following the standards established in The Way We Do Things
  • Prepare and support company planning processes in line with divisional strategies
  • Safeguard the company's assets
  • Drive actions linked to sustainability
  • Suggest and implement actions that can collaborate to a smoother monthly closing


In this position the Business Controller will report to the Business Controller Specialty Rental South America and will be the focal point in supporting the Country Manager of Itubombas.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience in business control, finance or accounting
  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline who can demonstrate sound knowledge of accounting practices.

  • Excellent communication skills (Portuguese/English).

  • Ability to deliver best practice solutions and embrace and drive towards digitalization.
  • Strong PC skills in MSOffice, Power BI and SAP experience is ideal.
