We are searching for the best talent _for Health Care Compliance - Global Assessment & Consulting Services Lead LATAM _
to be in _Sao Paulo, Brazil; Bogotá, Colombia or Mexico City, México. _**
Purpose:The Lead Specialist, Global Assessment & Consulting Services is a core member of the Global Assessment & Consulting Services (GACS) LATAM team. The Lead Specialist is responsible for executing on a portfolio of services to identify, mitigate and manage Health Care Compliance (HCC) risk as specified in the GACS plans consistent with HCC Critical Priorities and top sector and regional risk areas. The Lead Specialist is responsible for executing on the projects to meet the execution of the annual workplan including assessments, pre-closure effectiveness checks, and assisting on consulting on management action plans and other activities. This role will leverage data analytics when applicable to identify potential gaps in controls. The role requires a trusted and solid performer with high potential and being capable of focus on continuous improvement, vigilance, and the development of innovative approaches to assist the leadership team to assess emerging risk areas due to emerging new business models and changes in the regulatory environment and associated requirements.


You will be responsible for:


  • Acts as consultant of the HCCO's on multiple matters as defined by the GACS leadership and be the primary point of contact for the relationship between HCCO and LATAM GACS team
  • Plans and executes assessments, MAP preclosure effectiveness checks and consulting activities assigned at each of countries / Operating Companies (OpCo's) in partnership with the HCCOs using an approach that addresses the specific prioritized risks of the region and sectors.
  • Documents and communicates results with HCCOs and OpCo Management and provides consulting support to HCCOs to develop Management Action Plans (MAP), process mapping, and support related to monitoring resources and training.
  • Assists the LATAM GACS team in activities in other LATAM countries on a need and/or project basis
  • Represents the region on project teams to enhance HCC testing protocols, processes and systems

Qualifications:


_EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS _:


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is preferred (Areas of studies: Finance, Business, Economics, Technology)
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience is required, and experience in healthcare industry is preferred
  • Experience in HCC or related compliance/risk management function (Regulatory, Quality, Finance) is preferred.
  • Crossfunctional and/or crosssector experience preferred
  • Experience in a multinational environment preferred

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:


  • Requires experience conducting audit/monitoring activities in Compliance and/or Audit related areas (HCC, FCPA, Finance, Internal Controls, IT, Quality, and Regulatory)
  • Knowledge of HCC/fraud and abuse laws, FCPA and other antibribery acts; regulatory promotional practices, financial or auditing practices and company business processes and policies, such as Sales & Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc is preferred.
  • Demonstrated quantitative analytical or statistical skills required
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple critical iss
