Job Description:

The Opportunity:

The Finance Team at Mattel Latin America oversees informing employees on the company's results and performance.

As part of its main activities, it complies with its obligations as a public company, it controls the company's expenses and establishes the fiscal strategy.

A equipe de Finanças do Brasil, juntamente com a equipe de Finanças Latam, tem como objetivo fornecer informações estruturadas e de qualidade para gestores e funcionarios da empresa, cumprindo todos os requerimentos fiscais e também reporte em USGAAP.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Participate in the month end close including, analysis of P&L and balance sheet, preparing journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and preparing management reports
Variance analysis
Prepare and post complex journal entries, as leases under IFRS, intercompany prepayment, etc.
Calculation of direct taxes
Participate in the year end audit of financials statements including drafting note disclosures, obtaining audit support, and responding to auditor inquiries
Work with different teams across the company, such as tax, treasury and FP&A
Support in multiple adhoc tasks, including creating new reports, reconciliations, and processes to enhance the integrity of financial information
Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
Assisting in the design and preparation of department budgets for review by management
Preparation and delivery of ECD, ECF and IBGE Research
Participar do fechamento do mês, incluindo análise de P&L e balanço, preparação de lançamentos contábeis, realização de reconciliações mensais e preparação de relatórios gerenciais.
Análise e explicação de variações vs ano anterior e vs orçamento.
Preparar e lançar lançamentos contábeis complexos, como arrendamentos (IFRS 16), transações intercompany, composição de custo, etc.
Cálculo de impostos diretos (LALUR).
Participar e dar suporte a auditorias externas (Big Four) e internas (Controles Internos), incluindo criação de relatório com notas explicativas, gerenciamento de solicitações e testes com outras áreas, passo a passo de processos, etc.
Trabalhar com diferentes equipes em toda a empresa, como impostos, tesouraria e FP&A.
Suporte em várias tarefas ad hoc, incluindo a criação de novos relatórios, reconciliações e processos para aprimorar a integridade das informações financeiras.
Avaliação de controles internos, incluindo avaliações de risco e revisões de áreas de risco.
Auxiliar na concepção e preparação de orçamentos departamentais para revisão pela administração.
Elaboração e entrega de Pesquisa, ECD, ECF, BACEN e IBGE.
