Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change.

We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.


Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Solid ServiceNow experience in the areas of ServiceNow CMDB/CIs as a CMDB Business Analyst.
  • Strong people and client management experience in a consultative environment.
  • Experience with Agile methods such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Strong experience as CMDB Business Analysts.
  • Experience with trouble shoot customer issues, tickets and experience with creating stories for Agile sprints.
  • Advanced proficiency with user story definition, acceptance criteria writing in addition to facilitating effective refinement sessions.
  • Ability to help clients with strategic vision definition and alignment.
  • Must be fluent in English and have good communication skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • ServiceNow implementor certifications is desired.
  • ServiceNow Administrator certification is desired.
  • CMDB Product Owner experience and certification is strongly desired.
  • Must be curious to learn clients business quickly.
  • Expert level knowledge on the ServiceNow CMDB and CIs.
  • Should understand CMDB Integrations with other ServiceNOw modules and relationships.
  • Understand ServiceNow CI class, attribute, and relationship properties for all CIs.
  • Translate customer requirements into stories and acceptance criteria and work with the development team or able to take on the development role when needed.
  • Good working experience with ServiceNow CMDB tables, relationships and CSDM data model.
