Job Description Summary:

Responsible for customer project management - project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer experience through the management of project related activities and resources.

Focus on the execution of project deliverables on time, within budget, guaranteeing highest quality, while assuring that contractual obligations and company rules are properly followed.

Acts as the main responsible for project results and communication with customer and with GE's management.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Act as the GE representative and focal point for the customer on the project, owning the customer relationship for the duration of the project, and driving customer issue resolution;
  • Provide Project Leadership, effectively managing and facilitating crossfunctional GE teams to ensure on time delivery, contract fulfilment, and margin attainment/ enhancement;
  • Own project execution, including coordination of Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Services / Field Execution during the whole project lifecycle;
  • Create and manage action plans to minimize risk exposure guaranteeing that deadlines, budget and quality standards are under control;
  • Understand, Own and implement Contract Terms & Conditions;
  • Manage project financials: sales, cost, margin, invoicing, receivables and change orders;
  • Continuously search for improvements and implements measures to optimize cost and increase contribution margin (CM);
  • Drive project schedule; work with Project Planner on schedule creation and management;
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and project reviews to drive risk mitigation, best practices/ lessons learned, and project execution excellence.

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferably in a technical or business degree) with at least 5 years of experience in Project Management;
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct customer facing experience;
  • PMP Certification, Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP) Graduate, or other Project Management training;
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated project management skills and passion for Project Management;
  • Able to deal with dynamic environment, managing healthy relationship with customer and quickly addressing crises when they arise;
  • Able to prioritize and escalate issues when necessary as well as proposing viable solutions;
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of proposals and contract to understand scope, deadline, costs, risks and contractual implications of project
  • Demonstrates business savvy and favorably represents GE when dealing with customers and partners;
  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of project budget, processes, and deadlines and guarantees that team and client are properly briefed.
