What you will do


The RMC Scientist FnW presents a global scope focused on raw material qualification of Fibers & Non-woven materials for Global R&D.

The person shall have strategic and operational skills in the planning and execution of raw material spec implementation as well as good communication and strong analytical skills to conduct raw material analysis, to evaluate the technical documentation from supplier, and to engage in technical discussions with cross-functional teams.

Ability of teamwork and sense of urgency to respond the target dates and global achievements are crucial.

  • Key Responsibilities**
  • Use analytical data and science to predict product behavior through raw material deep understanding.
  • Develop new raw material methods or review existing ones to be aligned with International standards and suppliers' practices, being a reference internally for Product Development and Quality partners
  • Ability to communicate clearly with the internal and external organizations (external manufacturing sites and suppliers).
  • Ability to execute laboratory analysis, compile and analyze data, identify causes, draw conclusions and generate reports
  • Ability to manage complexity and to work collaboratively in partnership with global teams.
  • Create, plan and organize implementation planning for the raw material qualification understanding the business impact of preventable mistakes or reworks.
  • Demonstrate clear engagement for action on priorities and get the projects targets demonstrating a great sense of urgency.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related areas is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on analytical techniques.
  • Advanced English
  • Desired Qualifications
  • Professional with a Master's Degree or PhD in analytical chemistry or fiber nonwoven materials fields will be considered a plus, but not required.
  • Experience on materials such as plastic films, nonwovens, adhesives, polymers will be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and time management abilities
  • Good communication skills with different areas & teamwork.
  • Have a leadership mindset to drive a collaborative attitude to the team.
  • Openminded and creativity to understand current processes and challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally in a team environment while being an individual contributor.
